Mentoring Services for Translators

Why do emerging translators need a mentor?
Sometimes we all need a mentor to give us a helping hand in life. If you’re an up-and coming translator trying to find your way in the world, let me be your mentor.
As solopreneurs who often work alone, sometimes it’s useful to have a fellow freelance translator who you can trust to talk to about where you want to go with your freelance translation business. Particularly if you’re new to the industry. That’s where I come in.
I want to be the first port of call for up-and-coming translators who need a mentor to turn to for advice on anything from freelancing to the work itself. We can talk about translation projects, developing your niche or how to develop your client base. Or we can dig deeper into the other skills you need to run a successful freelance translation business. I’m happy to talk shop about rates, your terms of business and payment terms, as well as time management and client care.
From one language lover to another, let’s take the opportunity to chat about translation and put the world to rights over a cuppa.
Still not convinced? Here’s what freelance translator Chloe Stout had to say about my mentoring services:
“Nicole’s knowledge and experience of being a freelance translator were invaluable to me when I first decided to take the leap into freelancing. She talked me through how to get clients, prices and motivated me to make my business work for me. If you are new to translation or thinking about freelancing, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. My business wouldn’t be where it is today without her help and support! Thanks, Nicole!”
